Mashiro no Oto is a Japanese manga series that started releasing in December 2009. A TV Anime series is set to be released in April of 2021. Following his grandfather's death, Setsu Sawamura drops out of high school and moves to Tokyo not knowing what to do besides play his shamisen. His mother, Umeko Sawamura, then tries to shape up Setsu, re-enrolling him into high school. Setsu is unaware he is about to reignite his passion for the shamisen.
