Shuri Maeda (前田 朱利, Maeda Shuri) is a supporting character in Mashiro no Oto.
Appearance[]
Shuri has chin-length brown hair that has short square bangs hanging over her forehead and brown eyes.
She wears a primarily navy blue and white school uniform with the school pin worn on the top left side of her dress.
Personality[]
Shuri is a determined and hardworking girl, although she is easily brought to tears and can at times come across as whiny.
Etymology[]
- The name Shuri means "vermilion red" (朱) (shu) and "benefit, advantage" (利) (ri).
- Shuri's surname Maeda means "in front, before, previous/previously, earlier, former, above, one-time, fore part, privy parts/privates, miss, presence, portion, for, since" (前) (mae) and "field, rice paddy" (田) (ta/da).
Trivia[]
- The reason why Shuri joined the shamisen appreciation club is to find the sound that her grandmother was looking for when she first heard as a young girl.
